In 2009, we purchased 50 acres with a simple goal: work with nature to improve the land we call home. Our soil was thin in places, heavy clay in others, and full of rocks — but through diversity, rotational grazing, native plantings, and careful stewardship, we’ve watched the ecosystem come back to life.

By fencing livestock out of waterways, planting native species like willow and dogwood, and restoring healthy grazing systems, we’ve rebuilt soil, supported pollinators, and created habitat for birds, bees, butterflies, turtles, frogs, and more. Today, our fields are thriving with biodiversity.

Our sheep play an important role in that system — improving soil health while producing beautiful fleeces each year. Instead of letting that wool go to waste, we transform it into wool pellets: a renewable, slow-release soil amendment that improves water retention, enhances aeration, builds organic matter, and reduces fertilizer runoff.

Wool pellets can even replace peat moss in many applications — offering a sustainable alternative to a non-renewable resource. They nourish soil, strengthen plants, and support stronger yields — all while diverting waste wool from landfills and creating value for local farmers.

We believe wool pellets are a practical, innovative way to build healthier soil, stronger plants, and a more sustainable future.
